Rock Drums Play-Along of the Song “Ever Done Before”

This play-a-long features “Ever Done Before” by the band Sterr. In 2004, Sterr won the Original Band of The Year award at the Canadian Association for Musical Empowerment and Opportunity awards.

The song isn’t too hard to learn. It’s verses, chorus, and bridge are all based on 2 bar long patterns. The second bar of the verse pattern picks up the pace a little and switches to an open hi-hat feel.

When the chorus comes in, the hi-hat is replaced with a ride cymbal pattern. As you play the bridge, feel free to add in your own cymbal shots as you see fit.
